So I recently explored Act 8 and became valiant. Rather than using the three rank 5 gems on champs I actually enjoy, I decided to use them to rank up the champs for the Carina challenges (Starky is by far my favorite champ and really want him as a 7*).
So I proceeded to rank 5 my 6* Mojo, rank 4 Jabrari, rank 5 Tigra, and started working on the avengers (already have a maxed Zemo). In hindsight, I may have had too much confidence in my ability 🫠.

After using all these resources, I first decided to delve into the Mojo content. Although I may be valiant with both Act 8 and the necropolis completed, this carina "challenge" is beyond me. I'm spending more on this one Mojo path than my Aegon path in the Necropolis. I know the response might be git good, but this is too far.

If I can't reasonably complete these challenges and get that 7* Starky, what's my point in playing? I chased a 6* for years and finally got him. I would chase the 7* too but honestly I don't think I have the skill to do the Tigra challenge. Perhaps I'll cool off but my struggles, even after ranking up these champs, is making me hate the entire game.

Maybe I'll return if they put these champs in the basic or titan pool. Until then, my recently ranked up Mojo will continue to mock my account as my last foolish, over-confident action

I made a Mojo challenge guide a few days ago. It’s not easy but there are strats to use to minimize revives

      I literally feel you brother.

I r4ed and ascended my zemo, and r4ed my tigra. If not for CCP challenges, I would never ranked them.

I already had a 6* r4 ascended mojo, went in but quitted at modok, after spending 30 revives. Now I regret ranking up zemo, He is just sitting at my roster without any use. But atleast I knew when to stop

You shouldn't have ranked all these champs before attempting atleast one of the quest. This challenge is absolute bs not worthy to try.

@captain_rogers Zemo is a pretty good BGs defender at least.

For me, the Tigra challenge was the worst. I'm a terrible Tigra player. The Mojo challenge was slightly easier, mostly because you could quit at Dragonman.

The Avengers challenge was a good one, where I got to use champs I never use—and find out how useful they actually are. The Zemo challenge was great, but I do love Zemo.

No he isn't. Any heavy hitter who don't rely on debuffs can cook him in 40 seconds. I'm not saying he is trash, But he was never on my list of rankup if not for the challenge. But I don't mind, He is a decent counter to some annoying science defenders like photon and jess

He’s been doing good this meta for me. I have him r5 ascended and while he has a lot of counters, he’s a decent last resort defender. He cooks photon the fastest of any champ if he crits (mantis would be faster without the crit and she’s more reliable) but he gets a lot of use from me

Yeah since he is a tactic defender and you ideally wanna dex him a lot (He deals huge damage and non parryable on block) He is quite useful as a defender in gc. Most X magica nukes like sunspot or gully deathless rely on debuffs so he is good for a week haha.

He is definitely a good champ, Just not on my list of rankups.

I don't think the mojo challenge is that hard. You may have burnt yourself out doing all these challenges in a short time.
Give it a rest, cool down, and come back stronger !

Did you miss the entire point of the post? I play this game for Marvel characters. I like Spider-Man. I cannot get Spider-Man without doing this challenge. Hence, it makes for an unpleasant experience to tie a character behind a BS challenge

Yeah I just did the challenge and had a horrible time as well. I made a post about it (didn't see you had one too), but I think mine may have gotten removed lol. Either way, I feel your pain, terrible challenge

honestly with tigra, u dont have to be that good, learning different champs' spacing is a general skill set, so if u know how to do that, using tigra shouldn't be that horrible

The mojo one wasn’t bad. The tigra one however was 3x more painful than the rest.

So rank the 6* up, max him out and do the challenges when you're better prepared to do them. 🙃

This is a game. You need to change your perspective.

If a challenge isn't fun, don't play it.

You have a 6* starky, and he will be useful for a very long time. There will likely eventually be other ways to acquire the 7* version.

You do not owe this game anything. And this game does not owe you anything. Use it for entertainment. Or don't use it.
