I have an original Oculus Headset with the first hand tracking controllers. My issue is that any game I try to play through the "Meta Quest Link" app (like Beat Saber, or The Climb or any other game) the controllers are not tracked. It's only in the game, but it's all games via the default Oculus app.
The controllers work just fine in the Oculus Menus, and I'm able to press the Oculus Home button and get into the main Oculus Menus just fine (while a game is playing). It also understands when the hands pass/trigger the guardian (while in game). So they are being tracked... kinda. But the in game controllers are not "attaching" to the tracked hands, and no buttons work in game (other than the Home button). For example I can see the beat saber wands just laying by my feet not moving when I load into the game (in their default position).
If I try to play a game with the Oculus via SteamVR those games work just fine. The controllers are tracked correctly in game. But I have games that are only on my Oculus account...
Troubleshooting I've tried:
Re-install Meta Quest Link app
Re-setup tracking/guardian
Have SteamVR opened when playing Oculus games
None of these have helped.

I did futz a little more and go off of the Beta channel and back to the normal and the controllers are working on that as well. So not sure if it just needed a good restart? I uninstalled and re-installed, but I guess Oculus probably left some dlls or hidden files still on my PC.

I don't believe hand tracking works in PCVR. PC games only understand controller inputs.

@CholeniThank you for that.
I did do the workaround by going on the Beta Branch (in the Oculus app Settings -> Beta -> Public Test Chanel) and this fixed my issue. Hopefully Oculus fixes this issue on the main branch.
What I find odd is I think my normal branch wasVersion 67.0.0.206.355, and now that I'm on the Beta branch I'm onVersion 67.0.0.206.355, which is the same? So not sure what changed. But when i turned on Beta it did have me restart so maybe there's something different.

The next PTC version(v68) isn't out yet.
So, even if you switch to PTC, it will install the latest build version. Not sure, why it's working now.
But....... don't ask why, just be happy😂
