This role involves reaching out to potential guests via cold calls and inviting them to participate in our podcasts. As a Podcast Booking Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our network of podcast guests and ensuring the success of our shows.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound cold calls to individuals, experts, and influencers to invite them as guests on our podcasts.
Present the benefits and value proposition of appearing on LaunchPod podcasts persuasively.
Build rapport and establish relationships with potential guests to encourage their participation.
Maintain a database of potential guests and track outreach efforts.
Coordinate scheduling and manage the calendar of podcast hosts.
Communicate effectively with hosts and guests to ensure smooth coordination before podcast recordings.
Collaborate with the content team to align guest bookings with podcast themes and objectives.
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for guest bookings.
Stay updated on industry trends and identify new opportunities for guest recruitment.
