We’ve always been about helping people in their financial lives.Our story began 70 years ago when 12 founding members had one bold idea: to create a safe place for our military and civil service members to save and borrow money. Stationed at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, they called the credit union Jax Navy Federal Credit Union.Still headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, VyStar has grown to serve anyone who lives or works within our areas of service from Central Florida through Georgia. We’ve made it easy to join VyStar because we believe the more we grow, the more good we can do. VyStar Credit Union is the second-largest credit union headquartered in Florida and now serves more than 900,000 members with assets totaling over $13.5 billion. VyStar is the largest mortgage lender in Northeast Florida and a major employer in the region with over 2,000 employees across the communities it serves.   It was grand opening day at the VyStar Credit Union branch in Peachtree Corners, GA! Our team is thrilled to be part of this community. We were honored to present a $5000 check to Rainbow Village, a local nonprofit that the branch has selected because of the amazing work they do in the community. Chopper the Groundhog, the mascot for the Gwinnett Stripers baseball team, stopped by to celebrate with us. We can't wait to meet our neighbors and share what VyStar has to offer! #withVyStar

  On Memorial Day we remember and honor our fallen heroes. I attended the City of Jacksonville’s Memorial Day Observance at The Veterans Memorial Wall, the second largest in the nation of its kind. We listened to Memorial Day remarks from Jacksonville Mayor, the Honorable Donna Deegan, as well as keynote speaker VADM Mary Jackson, USN (ret).We had many more honored guests, including Gold Star Families, and even witnessed an incredibly moving rendition of Old Glory by CMC Mack Ellis, USN (ret). Today and everyday, we honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. #memorialday #sacrifice #neverforget #pow #mia #thankyou #vystarcreditunion 🇺🇸
