i enjoyed the location, surely because it is located at the city area. so it is strategic! the facilities are also nice. excellent service as well. the bellboy was so helpful and generous. however, what i found unfortunate was the foods variety and their lack of freshness (side dishes) hopefully, those can be fixed for the better future.

Overall, the room was good, the toilet was clean, and the breakfast was fine.This hotel's service and security is really awesome. I left a quite important thing and just contacted them 3-4 days afterwards. They still have my belongings and they sent it back to me. I got my belongings back, nice and safe.

The team called us to prep about the room availability and our expected arrival time so that they can arrange a proper room before our arrival. And services from other staffs were great too100/10

I stayed at this hotel for one night and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, the hotel is in a prime location, close to many attractions and public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was decent. The price was also reasonable.However, I was disappointed by the facilities and the service. The hotel is old and needs renovation. The room and the bathroom were small and cramped, and the furniture and amenities were outdated. The worst part was when I asked for an extra pillow, they refused to provide one, saying they had no more available. This was unacceptable for a 5 star hotel and a let down for me.Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay. You get what you pay for, but you can find better options elsewhere.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ciputra hotel. The staff was super friendly and we were always welcome to conact them if we needed anything. The room was very clean as well as the swimming pool and gym👌 The hotel is located in the city centre which has a lot of cabs standing nearby. There is even a shopping mall next to the hotel, so enough choices!

Me and my wife have just returned home from a long weekend. We arrived early for check in Friday, about 4 hours. But no problem we was allowed in to our room which was a double executive. Large wardrobe, large bathroom with good shower over bath, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities. Check in was very pleasant, reception staff very helpful. 2 types of restaurants and staff very very friendly and helpful. Only one downfall a lack of electrical sockets only one spare. First night room was not over warm, reported to reception and as promised a temporary heater was delivered promised a temp to our room within 10 minutes. We will return soon for another short stay with no problem

We stayed there during the doctor symposium on August 2023. The hotel itself looks tired and service was poor.First, it began from the reservation made. We made the reservation through travel agent. We decided to add on extra bed so we emailed to reservation team (email address mentioned in their official website) to get more information about extra bed fee, etc. We have waited for a week but no reply from them. Then, we made a call direct to the hotel but simply they answered no extra bed is available during our stay. We complained that we had sent email to your team a week ago, then only they promised to double check the availability and called us on the following day. And again, they didn't call us until we had to call again and we got the same answer that no extra bed is available. But then less than 5 minutes, they message me that extra bed is available for us.On the last day of our stay, the breakfast was very crowded and not well managed. The hostess only asked our room number and let us in while the breakfast venue was full, no table was available for us and the rest of guests who came after us. No waiter was care enough to ask us while we were looking for a table. So many people was standing here and there waiting for a table. After a while, they only opened other breakfast venue.Those were my stay experiences. Hopefully, it helped Hotel Ciputra Semarang to improve their service in the future.

This hotel never makes me bored, with the charm of the Simpang Lima view, friendly hotel workers, makes me always want to come back again. Actually, there are too many beautiful memories in Semarang, thank you very much to Hotel Ciputra Semarang, great job

Nice location. The room was tidy, with big Windows and air conditioning, in the basem*nt. The bathroom's big. Breakfast is delicious and varied. The room has a kettle, coffee and instant tea, and milk for coffee. Big lobby with the cafe. The staff is friendly and friendly. Rooms are cleaned every day. Furniture and carpets could no longer be called new, but they were clean and therefore were no discomforts. After reading the reviews, I expected something bad, but only a good impression remained.

Just touched down this hotel, i wish great warm greetings, but when i talked to the receptionist man, all things were gone.Services are far from the price were paid, a small request for 1 single bed, rejected with not nicely 😑Fortunately, just try to spend 1 night first to try from my weekend here at Semarang.Never ever to stay at this hotel!

This hotel has 5* of bedroom and service (like the old days!), except the bathroom; it needs special molds treatment. Breakfast also needs some improvement in terms of taste, quality and variety. Let say, bad coffee isnt a good start!

The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable and comfortableIt's not surprising that with 5 star hotels, they are top notch when it comes to service. I also think the food is really great, the price is also really worth it.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed.Car parking is difficult.The temperature in the room couldn't be lowered, so it was very cold.Exhaust Fan in the bathroom doesn't work.The room floor still has carpet, so it can cause allergies due to dust and dirt.I really don't recommend it.

The unbeatable factor for choosing this hotel is the location. It's located at Simpang Lima, the heart of Semarang and on the Ciputra shopping mall.I booked a Deluxe room but I was forced to upgrade my room, as they could not provide non-smoking room for my group. The problem is our group bringing along a 3-year old niece, so we don't think a smoking room will be ok for us.We chose to upgrade to the Executive Room. The hotel provides one slice of cake as the complimentary welcome snack. Such a nice gesture. The room cleanliness is actually good despite of a bit outdated room interior. As we stayed at the Executive room, we got an access to the Executive Lounge for 2 persons from 6 - 10 p.m. Additional pax is around IDR95,000. The food and drink provided is okay, not that special. I personally think my decision to upgrade is a right one. The room is significantly bigger and more comfortable than the deluxe room for our group. I also think the room and furniture condition is a bit better than the deluxe room. It's almost impossible to adjust the air con, so our room is freezing for the whole night.The elevators serving all 10 floors are slow like snails. If you stay at the upper floors, they will test your patience. Their size is also quite small, so if one family of 5 brings luggage, it'll be cramped inside the elevator.The most courteous staff are front office and bakery staff. The security team just has lukewarm reaction to the guests. However, the lukewarm and indifferent attitude to guests feels like a norm now at their hotel chain. I stayed at their sister hotels in other cities, and the staff in those sister hotels act almost the same as the staff here.I don't recommend booking a room with breakfast. I once booked a room with breakfast and it isn't worth the price. The selection is not that great and the taste is just so-so. The breakfast place is a nightmare. It's so small for the number of guests this hotel can cater. Just get ready to bump with almost everyone and better to have your breakfast as early as possible in order to avoid high-traffic.The parking place is another nightmare. So small and cramped. Get ready to get into a battle for acquiring a spot for your car. When you got a spot for your car, make sure that you only get your car out when you check out. If you go out that evening by your car, you may not be able to get a parking spot upon your return to the hotel.

Hotel Ciputra Semarang somehow always draws me in whenever I visit the city. I don't know whether it's the feeling one gets when entering the lobby, the beautiful Gallery Restaurant, the cozy hotelrooms, or the staff attitude. But it's safe to say that it's the mix of all the aforementioned elements.To me, this hotel is filled with nostalgia, which is why it may have more meaning to me than some of you out there. Nonetheless, my experience with hotels all over the world allows me to still provide you with a valuable review.I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the city. Whether you are here for leisure or business, the location is centrally located, making it an excellent headquarters to further explore the city. However, I think this hotel is somewhat more suitable for those traveling for business/bleisure, simply because of the facilities and ambience.The breakfast options are plenty. Not too much nor too little. It is very suitable for the Indonesian taste palette, as the majority of the food is spicy (something that my stomach doesn’t specifically agree with).I liked the service of the staff. Not intrusive, yet very helpful.Something that I would love to see improve is the interaction between the guest and the staff. Trying to provide a bit more personalised service. I do not expect it to be to the same extent as a luxury villa resort, but just a few more touches where I would feel well taken care off.My special commendation goes to Ms. Desiana who took excellent care of me during my time at the hotel, and who took the time to show me the beautiful property, once again.
