Sean I am of the opinion that comedies have to walk a very fine line between being good or funny this movie is one of the exceptions that did both it was amusing thought-provoking an overall a good movie highly recommend! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/06/24 Full Review Forza M Nice movie, really funny, interesting story. I really liked it. Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/06/23 Full Review DayBro It is good and interesting comedy, and one of the most important it isn't stupid movie. This film isn't ideal also, beacuse in scene with graphic dog you understand that it isn't very rich company which made this movie. Conclusion: I have a good time and this film made me laught, and it is unique movie, because film's idea is so good and realization is perfect. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/27/23 Full Review Mateusz C Funny, brilliant but also pretty scary Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/06/23 Full Review Philemon M "Look Who's Back" is an impressive and controversial satire that stirs up controversy with its sharp humor and daring premise. Based on the novel of the same name by Timur Vermes, the film explores the scenario of what would happen if Adolf Hitler suddenly reappeared in present-day Germany. Despite the highly sensitive topic, the film manages to captivate audiences with a fascinating blend of comedy, drama, and social commentary.Oliver Masucci shines in the role of Adolf Hitler, embodying the infamous dictator with a mix of charisma and absurdity. His performance is outstanding and simultaneously disturbing, as he is able to oscillate the viewer between fascination and disgust. Masucci manages to portray Hitler as a kind of comedic character, which amplifies the moral and ethical questions raised by the film. The plot follows Hitler as he resurfaces after more than 70 years and quickly becomes a media phenomenon. The film sheds light on the power of the media and populism by showcasing how easily people can be manipulated by a charismatic figure. It also highlights the dangerous parallels to today's political landscape, making the film even more unsettling.Director David Wnendt's execution is visually appealing and imbued with a certain lightness that gives the serious subject matter a touch of levity. The interplay between documentary-style footage and fictional scenes adds authenticity and enhances the satirical impact. However, "Look Who's Back" is not an easily digestible film. It provokes, raises uncomfortable questions, and confronts the viewer with their own biases and the past. It is a challenging experience that prompts reflection and important discussions about the dangers of populism and the responsibility of the media. All in all, "Look Who's Back" is an extraordinary film that not only entertains but also encourages an exploration of the dark sides of history. It is a brilliant satire that shines a light on the wounds of our society and compels us to confront our own prejudices and fears. Highly recommended for those willing to engage in a challenging and controversial experience. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/01/23 Full Review Casper R Had to watch this for my German class and it was decent. The comedy was great in some bits, but in other not so good. The guy who plays Hitler was great, he could be his brother. The movie itself was a great concept, but i think in same parts they dragged it out a bit to much, still a good time, but not really my kind of movie Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
