While at FAU, Covid hit and so I had to attend school remotely mid-semester. My research instructor really went above and beyond to make sure we, as well as she, transitioned well during this period of time. She went the extra mile to make sure assignments were understood and made herself available with any questions or concerns.
Unfortunately, because of Covid, there wasn’t really much I could do. I did, however, enjoy a few football games before Covid and by the time I was ready to graduate, my class was the first to have their graduation following Covid.
Before 2020, besides going to the football games, I spent alot of time in the library. Spacious, only crowded during finals, team projects were fun there too. There’s private rooms to study, media to use, and Dunkin Donuts in the library. PRICELESS!
My time at FAU was a great experience! I miss my time there and wish I could’ve done more.

Since I had started college at Florida Atlantic University in the Fall 2022, I had experienced many things that made me rethinking transferring to a different college. When I first started, I had my mind set on transferring to a better ranked university in my second year. However, FAU has soon began feeling like home. The education provided by the university, as well as the professors are incredible. The instructors are helpful and understanding. The campus life along with the diversity and activities among students contribute to the welcoming factor it gives to the new or transferring students. While there are some issues with the housing, the university is trying to remediate it by building new dorms that should be finalized by 2026. Overall, I believe the choice I made by choosing to attend FAU has been one of the greatest choice I had ever made. I will never regret attending it, considering all the connections and friends I had made in the two years since I started studying here.

Florida Atlantic University (FAU) is place where it is a fun area to study. Students can participate in a wide range of programs and interact with eminent academics who pique their interest and motivation for learning. One of my favorite programs that FAU put a lot emphasis on is studying abroad and exploring different places.
FAU's campus life is vibrant, with student going to thought-provoking lectures, and joining groups to meet others who are passionate about similar things. Like every community, FAU has room for improvement. For example, there is an effort to make the campus more interactive; the campus is not as lively as it used to be. Enhancing support services is also recommended in order to provide every kid the tools they require in order to succeed both academically and emotionally. By addressing these areas for development, FAU keeps developing into a place where students thrive in addition to learning, setting them up for success beyond graduation.
