We are hiring a Head of Marketing to be based in Hong Kong.

Asahi Europe & International ("AEI") is part of Asahi Group Holdings, a global beer, spirits, soft drinks, and food group listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Japan. It has leading positions in European and Asia-Pacific markets.
AEI runs 19 production facilities in 8 countries across Europe and is the custodian of some of the best beer brands in the world, including Asahi Super Dry, Pilsner Urquell, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Grolsch, and Kozel. Asahi Beer Asia (ABA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Asahi Europe & International (AEI) dedicated to growing the Group's global and premium brands in Asia. We currently focus on five key markets - China, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan – and are committed to delivering on our great taste promise to customers across the region.
2) About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional who is passionate and driven to lead the development and execution of the annual brand plan for Asahi's Hong Kong brand portfolios. The focus will be on media activities (buying and planning) and plan integration through the-line activities to land in on, off-trade, and digital commerce channels, ensuring that all planning and execution works are within the allocated advertising and promotions budget and contribute positively to the P&L. Apart from working with advertising and media agencies, he/she also need to work closely with the distributor marketing team to ensure marketing efforts effectiveness through the successful implementation of line activations in different channels.
The job holder will also be responsible for tracking and monitoring the marketing ROI effectiveness and brand performance and taking corrective action if needed. He/she will act as a marketing subject matter expert to other departments and external stakeholders, ensuring that the brand is managed effectively, consistently, and executed successfully per the brand plan.
This role plays a key role in our brand and commercial success by working closely with senior stakeholders across the businesses and overseeing the implementation and execution excellence of all the media activities and brand activation initiatives that drive brand awareness, sales, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy and plan to align with business objectives to build the brand and drive sales.
Adopt a Commercial Investment Framework and ensure the annual brand plan is delivered on time and within budget.
Be the direct point of contact to internal and external stakeholders for all through-the-line marketing activities within On- and Off-Premises and digital commerce channels.
Manage advertising and promotion budget and conduct analysis and regular updates on data-driven insights and recommendations.
Develop a clear understanding of the On-/Off-premises, digital commerce, consumer journey and shopper behaviors in premium brands and develop plans effectively and accordingly.
Closely partner with distributor’s marketing team to plan and execute effective trade marketing activations in both on and off-trade.
Develop project plans specific to each channels, outlining all brand activation initiatives; convert consumer, customer, and shopper insights into activation and lead the ongoing digital and influencer plan.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of and ROI of marketing efforts and plans, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
Establish effective and sustainable partnerships with agencies and vendors and hold agencies accountable for the agreed KPIs and make decisions on media planning and buying.
Closely partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales/Commercial, Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain, to ensure a cohesive and unified brand message across all communication channels and seamlessly integrate marketing efforts to maximize overall impact.
Research on competitors and keep up with the latest market trends and challenges to stay ahead.
A minimum of 10 years of brand and shopper marketing experience acquired from international FMCG, F&B and luxury brand Companies.
Proven track record in building successful brands and new product launches.
Strong evidence of planning and project management and a strong understanding of premium brand building and resulting brand portfolio management.
Demonstrated experience managing marketing projects through to successful completion.
Proficiency in digital and social media marketing tools and experience making decisions about media planning and buying
Solid experience in producing experiential events and engaging with PR and influencers to amplify the impact of the activity.
Solid experience in trade marketing planning and execution for both on, off-trade and digital commerce platform.
Understanding of P&Ls and a strong business acumen.
Experience in managing budgets and with proven ability to allocate resources effectively and efficiently.
Ability to translate consumer insights and customer data sources (such as Nielsen) into effective plans and actions.
